App Design. Sketch on paper, animate with your iPhone

A new app called POP (Prototyping On Paper) allows designers to create wireframe sketches on paper and then interactively link them using your iPhone camera.

This ridiculously simple app, created by Woomoo Inc., recognizes that the most efficient tools for creating mockups are pen and paper, and complicated wireframing programs can hinder the design process. By using your iPhone camera to take pictures of your sketches you can quickly and easily solve the brainstorm-to-presentable-prototype dilemma, and create an interactive interface. POP works in four simple steps.

1. Design on paper. Sketch your interface using pen and paper.

2. Take Pictures. Import your sketches by taking a picture using your iPhone.

3. Simulate. Create a storyboard by linking your sketches together with the apps ‘link spots’. Press play to simulate the user interface and check that it all flows correctly.

4. Share. Once you are happy with your prototype you can share it with colleagues to gain valuable and quick feedback. App design made easy. To read more about POP click here. [gallery]
