OnQue and Samsung White Goods division worked closely together to create a resource that provided customers with a comprehensive digital file repository that kept the many Samsung resellers up to date with Samsung Air Conditioning news and updates.

The Challenge 

Samsung had faced issues regarding communication with their Air Con resellers, as there wasn’t an existing central repository point that effectively targeted and communicated to the air con resellers. In solution OnQue developed a specific retailer portal and content management system (CMS) that allowed them to upload firmware updates, latest brochures, marketing material and schematics for their customers to download.

Amongst Samsung’s requirements was the request for the creation of an easy to use system, which would give sellers easy log access to the multiple levels of file structures and keep them up to date with the latest technical and marketing material on their air con department.

The Solution

OnQue executed linking certain files such as schematics and brochures to particular products to minimise doubling up of files, whilst also enabling the tracking of files in order to tie into Google analytics. Our team deployed a highly secured backend with permission in roles based on the level of administration within the portal.

Our team also came up with the design, in phase 1 we created wireframing of the front end user interface and then created the graphics and style to fit within the approved wireframe and Samsung corporate guidelines.

After four weeks of development and testing the final project was delivered and deployed at Samsung’s secure hosting infrastructure with outstanding success. The system is currently still in use by hundreds of active users.
