OnQue Transforms RaboDirect Australia’s Digital Footprint
OnQue was appointed as an official supplier of digital services to RaboDirect Australia. This important online banking giant has been looking to gain more prominence in the Australian online marketplace. By using a very engaging and evocative advertising campaign, RaboDirect Australia are now beginning to develop a stronghold in this busy Australian banking environment.
The Challenge
The digital requirements for the revised site were significant and needed to be multi phased. The initial phase focused on a design overhaul of the look, layout and communication flow of the RaboDirect Australia corporate site. The following phases (and a bigger challenge) were to find a solution to develop local communications outside the limitations of global corporate restraints.
The Solution
With the corporate site belonging to a global network of hosting and security, OnQue needed to recommend an additional platform that allowed for localisation and greater targeted marketing opportunities. OnQue had to look at a solution that was flexible enough to allow for the RaboDirect local team to manage and propagate new content and services, whilst at the same time being robust enough to pass through stringent security gating requirements.
OnQue started this process as a blank sheet exercise, researching several emerging hosting platforms before arriving at an innovative cloud computing system that met all of the strict corporate and security requirements. With the new hosting solution in place, OnQue were then able to implement a number of new features for the localised site, including a new media center, social interaction and create the facility for individual campaign feature pages.
The scope of work included re-branding of key product offerings, to give the customer a more tailored online experience. Functionality such as responsive design was also included in the new solution giving the bank’s mobile users a more streamline and convenient experience.
Further to this, OnQue also provided the expertise and technical services to help improve RaboDirect Australia’s site overall performance, particularly in regards to search engine optimisation (and general SEO targets) as well as RaboDirect Australia online awareness and search rankings.
Altogether this has been a great new creative relationship for OnQue and RaboDirect Australia with the head of Digital already giving us some awesome feedback.
