Innovative digital imagery library Shutterstock has recently published their 2013 annual global design trends infographic. This infographic identifies emerging visual trends across the globe, and was created using data collected from both searches and downloads on the site throughout 2012.
Last Thursday Facebook announced it’s first major design update since launching the timeline at the end of 2011, a new look news feed which places more focus on images and aims to reduce clutter.

The single page website has gained popularity from a design trending perspective in recent times, and although it’s not a viable digital solution for every business, single page layouts can be perfect for sites that are not content heavy, or are predominantly for mobile use.
